Najočakávanejším albumom pre mňa sú rozhodne nový The Roots. Tí už roky potvrdzujú status najkonzistentenjšej skupiny nielen v hip-hop a každý ich release od "The Organix" z roku 1993 sa objavil v zozname najlepších LPs roka. Inak to určite nebude ani v súvislosti s pripravovaným "How I Got Over", ktorý bude ich tretím releasom pod Def Jamom.

Tento mesiac bude zaujímavý najmä pre fanúšikov "real" hip-hopu, nech už pod tým rozumiete čokoľvek. Royce Da 5"9´ zaútočí na trón s Primom-produkovaným LP "Street Hop" a súdiac podľa jeho ostatnej formy, King Mathers môže byť minulosťou. New Yorku vzdá hold Cormega so svojím "Born ´n´ Raised" a dúfam, že jeden z najnedocenenejších rapperov konečne využije šancu na seba poriadne upozorniť. To by sa hodilo aj Apathymu, ktorý už pár rokov absentuje a vracia sa s "Wanna Snuggle", pokračovateľom podareného "Eastern Philosophy". A aj zo západného pobrežia sa ohlasuje kvalitný materiál, keď Fashawn prichádza zo svojou predstavovačkou "Boy Meets World", ktorá je exkluzívne produkovaná Exilom - a dúfam, že si pamätáte, čo z toho naposledy vyšlo, keď Exile nahral kolabo LP.

Tu to rozhodne nekončí - Fat Joe chce nadviazať na svoj komerčne najúspešnejší album, Saigon sa bude snažiť neskončiť rovnako ako Papoose, bratia Jacksonovci Madlib a Oh No dali dokopy nové albumy, návrat na scénu ohlasuje Sole, Too Short kompiluje svoje najväčšie hity, zatiaľ čo DOOM svoje najlepšie hosťovačky, spoja sa aj niektorý z undergroundových obľúbencov, keď spoločne albumy nahrali O.C. a A.G., ako aj Del a Tame One, Sean Price pred nástupom do ringu ponúka zahrievacie kolo, The Snowgoons opäť prinesú dávku pre fanúšikov Army of the Pharaohes a na Michaela Jacksona si budete môcť zaspomínať s "Remix Suite".
